Types of fall Grants
- Foundation Grants provide up to $2,000 for research expenses and/or a student stipend. A video submission is required to be considered for this grant.
- URC Grants provide up to $750 for research expenses and/or a student stipend. No video submission is required.

- September 7, 2026: Applications open for the 2026-27 Fall Grant Cycle
- October 2, 2026: Applications due by 5 p.m.
Grant funding breakdown
Foundation Grant (up to $2,000)
Funding can be divided in three ways, you will select your option on the application and include any supply costs:
- $1,500 stipend + $500 for project supplies
- $1,000 stipend + $1,000 for project supplies
- $2,000 for project supplies (no student stipend)
URC Grant (up to $750)
Funding can be divided in three ways, you will select your option on the application and include any supply costs:
- $750 stipend only
- $375 stipend + $375 supplies
- $750 supplies only (no student stipend)
Requesting more than $750 in supplies?
If your project budget exceeds the URC grant supply limit, include a brief plan explaining how you would complete your project if you do not receive a Foundation Grant. You may also identify other funding sources, such as departmental support, additional grants, or personal contributions.
