Grant Foundation invites applications for its Research Grants on Reducing Inequality program, which supports research studies that aim to build, test, or increase understanding of programs, policies, or practices to reduce inequality in the academic, social, behavioral, or economic outcomes of young people ages 5 to 25 in the United States, along dimensions of race, ethnicity, economic standing, language minority status, or immigrant origins.

- HEALTHY TRANSITIONS: IMPROVING LIFE TRAJECTORIES FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH SERIOUS MENTAL DISORDERS PROGRAM (SAMHSA):

Deadline May 8, 2023. The purpose of this program is to improve and expand access to developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate services and supports for transition-aged youth and young adults (ages 16-25) who either have, or are at risk for developing, serious mental health conditions. Award recipients will be expected to identify and provide appropriate behavioral health interventions to transition-aged youth and young adults who are at risk for a serious emotional disturbance or serious mental illness. IHEs are eligible to apply but must be in broader partnerships.

- SCIENCE FOUNDATIONS FOR ENERGY EARTHSHOTS (DOE)
Deadline June 21, 2023. The Energy Earthshots drive integrated program development and execution across the Department of Energy’s basic science and energy technology offices. They are part of an all-hands-on-deck approach to provide science and technology innovations that address the tough technological challenges required to achieve our climate and economic competitiveness goals. The Energy Earthshots will accelerate breakthroughs towards more abundant, affordable, and reliable clean energy solutions. This FOA will support small teams to build the scientific foundations for the Energy Earthshot goals.
