CITI Training

IRB Required Training

The Institutional Review Board (IRB) requires all researchers including graduate and undergraduate student researchers to provide proof of training in matters related to IRB.  This includes new research proposals as well as requests for Revisions and Continuing Review.

Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program (CITI)

The training is completed using CITI. When completed, you will have access to a Completion Certificate  which must be available for IRB when you submit research documents for review. IRB will return submissions without review if the CITI training documents for all researchers associated with the research are not available for review. The training consist of a series of online educational modules regarding the ethical and responsible conduct of research. The modules will take several hours to complete but can be saved and finished at intervals.
