Astronomy Open House

Wednesday, April 24, 2024
9:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Andreas Observatory

Join the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the Astronomy Open House. Visitors have a chance to view a variety of objects - planets, stars, and galaxies - and hear from astronomy faculty about the latest discoveries and insights astronomers and astrophysicists have learned about the universe in which we live. The department's very knowledgeable students will join the discussion and are always happy to field any questions about what's up in the sky that night.

Andreas Observatory is accessible by parking in Lot 1 and walking south through the gate and past the ropes course.

This event is open to current MSU students, faculty, staff, and the community in an effort to promote sustainability, equity, education, and wellness in the outdoors.
