Helpful Materials When Working with the IRB

You are welcome to review the IRB Manual.

We invite you to attend our monthly “Ask Me Anything” training sessions. These sessions are held on Zoom for maximum convenience and offer an open forum in which faculty and students are encouraged to bring their questions, ask for assistance, or just listen to what others have to ask. Again, Contact Us for this semester’s dates and times.

Please do not hesitate to Contact Us with questions large and small.

Additionally, in collaboration with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), we invite you to earn an IRB Applications 101 certificate. Have you ever wondered, "What is the role of the Institutional Review Board?" This course will introduce you to the role of the IRB, the levels of review, and how to prepare a successful application for review. No prior knowledge is required. Although intended for tenure-track faculty in their first few years of their research agendas, all faculty are welcome. This course will be instructed by the director of the IRB. Please come prepared to ask questions and have some fun along the way.
